2nd Annual Phoenix Pizza Festival Moves to Margaret T. Hance Park

Phoenix, Ariz. (July, 2016) – The 2nd Annual Phoenix Pizza Festival is set for Saturday, November 19, 2016. The event immediately outgrew the 2015 location of Civic Space Park and has found a new home at Margaret T. Hance Park, adjacent to Burton Barr Central Library in downtown Phoenix. With limited tickets available, the inaugural Phoenix Pizza Festival sold out before the gates opened, and the event is on pace to repeat a similar sell-out in year two, despite larger festival grounds.

On November 19, Hance Park will become pizza paradise for approximately 3,500 attendees who will have access to approximately 15 pizza vendors, dessert food trucks, related food vendors, and a full, park-filled festival. Pizza makers will serve $2-$4 slices, full pies, and everything in between. Some participants include: Fabio on Fire, La Piazza Al Forno PHX, Dang Brother, Dough Mama, Fireside Pizza, Lacy & Wendy’s, Nicastro’s, SuperFarm SuperTruckVicious Circle, Whiskey Ranch, and others. Craft beer and wine tasting stations, lawn games, and live bands will add to the pizza enjoyment.

The Phoenix Pizza Festival has partnered with Downtown Phoenix Inc. as a charity beneficiary. This community development group promotes continued revitalization of downtown through support of events and partnerships.
