SculptureTucson and Tucson Botanical Gardens Partner to Unveil New Exhibit

SculptureTucson, the local non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing Arizona’s cultural landscape through the placement of sculpture in public spaces; establishing a public sculpture park; and becoming a resource for diverse artists and art collectors, is thrilled to announce a partnership with Tucson Botanical Gardens (TBG) to host “Bird Houses and Nests.” Featuring large-scale outdoor sculptures, the exhibit debuts at the Gardens, located at 2150 N. Alvernon Way, on Saturday, September 26 and runs through Sunday, January 3, 2021.


“Bird Houses and Nests,” features large-scale sculptures by twelve artists that are integrated into the outdoor garden spaces based on the themes of bird houses and nests. Some works explore the shapes and forms of nests abstractly while others create stories about birds and nesting. Featured artists include:

Guests of the Tucson Botanical Gardens can enjoy the “Bird Houses and Nests” exhibit with regular admission. Cost is $15 for adults; $13 for students, seniors (62+) and military; and $8 for children.
