The International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA) is hosting its 14th annual conference from March 26-29, 2020, in Phoenix on the campus of Ottawa University. More than 350 expressive arts therapists, artists and professionals in the mental health field will share ideas and celebrate the harmonious interconnectivity of creativity, beauty and healing of mind, body and spirit, in all its wondrous forms: music, visual arts, poetry and writing, dance/movement, rhythm and play. This year’s theme is “Unlimited Possibilities to Be(e) great,” and conference organizers selected a bee to portray that theme throughout the conference. Bees symbolize community, brightness and personal power as well as harmony, teamwork and open communication. For a full list of activities, visit ieataconference.org.
